Website Logo

One of the projects in my web design class is to build our own personal website. We have to have a logo. My website is going to be a gallery for my artwork. For this logo, I was trying to combine my interests in photography and drawing, so I did a drawing (in illustrator) of me taking a picture.

I know this isn't a typical logo, but this is going to be my site, and this is my logo, so I can do what I want, thank you very much . However, I am very open to suggestions and critiques. My site is probably going to have a black background, so this will probably be inverted. I will try to come up with an inverted version. It will also be a bit smaller, also, and I am kind of worried about losing some detail (I love detail too much to do logos ).
